Feast of Little Fishes

Talk about being thrown in at the deep end!  I am little fussy when it comes to eating things from the sea.  Put me in the sea - no problem.  Put me in the sea with waves and a surfboard - even better.  Heck, put me in the sea with waves and a surfboard in Scotland in the middle of Winter - happy as Larry.  Now ask me to eat things from the sea - well that depends on what it is and how I am feeling that day.

So imagine my joy when not long after landing in Taiwan, we were off to a festival where the small local fish is served up course by course in a variety of different ways: steamed, fried, curried, in a soup, etc.

It was a great day out and a wonderful atmosphere and I thoroughly enjoyed watching other people eat fish!

Heading off to the fish feast Taiwan style:

Sporting the latest in Japanese fashion:

Typical, you wait for ages for a mechanised plough tractor trailer and they all come at once:

Where's the fish?

Did someone say 'fish'?
