Europe 2008 - Rome
I have to say that after the plethora of splendiferous architectural delights of Venice, Rome seemed a little disappointing. Venice is just so visually intense with all its narrow streets and absent vehicles. I suppose the sights in Rome are more spread out and I suppose they are older. The fact that it was unbearably hot didn't help matters either!
